Picnic With Me Pie Card |
T his card was inspired by seeing a number of “pie” cards, this is my take on it.

Emboss the Real Red Card Mat using the Big Shot and the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Remember to use one plate only on top of the Folder.
Cut a Crumb Cake Scalloped circle and a circle from the Layering Circles Framelits dies. Run the circle through the Big Shot again using the Basket Weave Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
Time for a little stamping. Stamp the “ Wishing you a day filled with good things” sentiment using Teal Red ink on a scrap piece of Crumb Cake cardstock and punch it out using the Pretty Label Punch. Stamp the “Happy Birthday to you” sentiment on the Whisper White card mat using Real Red ink. Attach the thin strips of Read Red cardstock along the side edges of the mat.
Attach the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper Mat to the embossed Real Red Mat using Tear n Tape or Snail. Attach the Real Red Solid Ribbon across the middle of this piece using two small pieces of Tear n Tape. Attach this piece to the Crumb Cake Card Base using Tear n Tape or Snail. Attach the inside Whisper White card mat using Tear n Tape or Snail.
Using a Sponge dauber and Soft Suede ink, daub some further texture on the top of the “pie”. Attach the pie to the centre right hand side of the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Use Glue dots to attach the Tutti Frutti Designer Series Paper pie piece to the top of the pie.
Attach the sentiment using Stampin’ Dimensionals to the top left hand side of the card front.
Tie a bow using the other piece of Real Red Solid Ribbon and attach it to the centre of your “pie” using a Glue dot.
