Eastern Palace Let's Be Friends Forever Card

This is the first of my series of Eastern Palace suite cards using the gorgeous foil papers from the Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper and my third card using the suite overall.

For this card I used a base of Very Vanilla cardstock with a Gold Foil mat topped with a mat of the Gold/Dapper Denim Foil paper from the specialty designer series paper stack. And I wanted to have a square base so the finished card is 5.5 in square. I cut the shape from the gold foil using the Eastern Medallions Thinlits dies before I added the top mat. I wrapped 1/8 in gold ribbon twice around the mats.

Then I used my Embossing buddy on a scrap piece of Very Vanilla and embossed the sentiment from the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set using the Versamark ink pad and Gold embossing powder. I did the same thing with the sentiment on the inside of the card. I used the Heat tool to set the embossed images.

I matted the sentiment on top of the gold die cut and attached it to the card using Stampin' dimensionals. To finish of the card I added three small gold flower stickers from the Eastern Gold Vinyl Stickers and popped a Gold Metallic Enamel Shape in the centre of each flower. A simple card with a bit of Wow! about it, don't you think?
