Eastern Palace Hello Card

Image

Welcome to my fourth Eastern Palace suite card sample. This card shows off some more of the two Specialty Designer Series Paper foils that come in the Eastern Palace bundles. If you look closely at the flower medallion on this card and compare it to the Fresh Fig thank you card I posted a couple of days ago, you will see they are different. I used a different inside circle die from the framelits for this card. The possibilities with these dies feel endless - the last number I saw being touted was 65 different layouts but then some more have also been suggested!

If you compare the flower medallion on this card with the one on the Fresh Fig card I added a few days ago, you will notice they are different. I used a different inner circle framelit from the set to create a a dotted circle feature to my sentiment piece.

I used Dapper Denim cardstock as the card base and layered a mat of Very Vanilla cardstock on it. I then used the two foil specialty designer series pieces to create an opulent looking card front. I finished these off with some Gold ribbon and a bow.

I cut the flower medallion using Gold foil and the Precision Base Plate. You also need the Die brush to help removing all those little bits! I stamped the Hello sentiment on a price of Very vanilla scrap using Versamark ink and then heat embossed it using Gold embossing powder and the Heat tool. After allowing the sentiment to cool, I cut it using the Layering Circles framelits dies and attached it to the flower medallion using Stampin' dimensionals. I attached the flower medallion using a small strip of Tear n tape.

I used a Very vanilla cardstock mat on the inside of the card and again heat embossed the You make me smile sentiment using Gold embossing powder and the Heat tool. I added no further embellishments as it felt like the card didn't need anything more. Do you like it? Which is your favourite so far?
