Eastern Palace Fresh Fig Thank You Card

My second card using this wonderful suite of products is a thank you card. I used the same Eastern Palace Specialty designer series paper but went for a totally different look with a Very Vanilla cardstock base, a layer of Fresh Fig cardstock and then a layer of the designer series paper. I cut the medallion using the Eastern Medallions thinlits dies (these truly are to die for they are so versatile) and cut the circles using the Stitched Shapes framelits and the Layering Circles dies.

The ink is Fresh Fig and my embellishments are the Silver Metallic Thread and the Metallic Enamel Shapes. A piece of 1 in thick Fresh Fig cardstock was placed diagonally across the card front to anchor the design.

And have you noticed the little motifs inked on the medallion in Fresh Fig ink? I also highlighted the Thank you sentiment by using another stamp from the set, the little circles.
Well I am off to complete a Baby mini album for a friend using the gorgeous but retiring Succulent Garden designer series paper. I will post the project after I give it to her at a Babies, Bonfire and BBQ day today.
Tomorrow's Eastern Palace card or cards will show off some of the gold foil designer series paper pieces and the gold foil stickers which match the medallion framelits. These are so gorgeous.
